Brow Lift (forehead lift)

A brow lift, also known as forehead lift, is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping eyebrows and can be used to improve the furrows and horizontal lines of the forehead as well as the vertical lines between the eyebrows that can make a person appear angry, sad, or tired.

In a brow lift (forehead lift), the muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping are altered to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows, and minimize frown lines. Brow lift (forehead lift) is often combined with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), to provide a complete surgical rejuvenation of the upper one-third of the face.

Unfortunately, brow lift (forehead lift) does not improve skin texture, pigmentation problems and brown age spots, fine lines, or skin redness and spider veins. We do, however, offer a variety of non-surgical skin rejuvenation techniques for enhancing facial aesthetics in our Medical Spa, including medical microdermabrasion, chemical peels, injectable wrinkle fillers, and cosmetic laser procedures. Botox injections are an effective treatment for the horizontal creases/wrinkles of the forehead and the vertical lines between the eyebrows caused by muscle activity. Dr. Mayfield personally performs all of our Medical Spa treatments to ensure that only the highest quality of medical care and safety is achieved at all times.
