Facelift

Throughout our lives, the sun's radiation, stress, gravity, aging, and other factors change the soft tissue support and surface of our skin to cause our skin to sag and fit more loosely. Areas of the face and neck, especially around the jaw line, are especially prone to the aging process. Though the changes are gradual, these very visible signs of aging can make individuals "feel older" than they really are.

A facelift, technically known as rhytidectomy, improves the most visible signs of aging by removing excess skin and fat, tightening underlying muscles and connective tissue, and re-draping the skin of your face and neck. The result is an improved and more youthful contour of the face and neck. A facelift can make you look younger and fresher, and it may enhance your self-confidence.

Facelift (rhytidectomy) does not improve skin texture, pigmentation problems and brown age spots, fine lines, or skin redness and spider veins. For improvement in these skin conditions our Medical Spa offers a variety of non-surgical skin rejuvenation techniques for enhancing facial aesthetics including medical microdermabrasion, chemical peels, Botox, injectable wrinkle fillers, and cosmetic laser procedures. Dr. Mayfield personally performs all of our Medical Spa treatments to ensure that only the highest quality of medical care and safety is achieved at all times.
